A needs analysis is a tool used to identify the language needs of your English language learners. It can be a questionnaire, an interview, or a discussion.
We use needs analyses to ascertain, among other things,:
- our students’ English levels
- their autobiographical information
- their English language needs
- their interests
A needs analysis is usually conducted in the first lesson with a new class.
